Comic - Hat Fad

One of our great animators, James always shown up to the course in his fancy hat. He has quite a collection of them for what I've heard and he never showed up one day without wearing one, almost as if it's part of him. More comics on James will be posted soon.

Comic - New friend

I decided to make a small comic series based on my social adventures since I've started my path in animation. I'll be uploading them randomly.
This edition is about my first days in my animation course. A lot of students already knew each other since the foundation course but i was a legit freshman. It was my birthday and i had to witness Yaw's special skill. I wasn't the only witness which made it less awkward. The guy on the right is Tad Davies.

This was a commission done for PatrikM13.
His concept was about a person walking down the road of life and reaching a cross road where he will have to choose between a dark path with crazy dreams and an enlightened, educated future. His choice can be seen in the work.

This was the first sketch of Road of Life. The left side had to be turned darker and i removed the sun coin along with the light as well as the gold bars. To give a better idea of the right side, i gave the characters there student hats to show their education nature.

Descriptions were a bit vague but he wanted a mysterious man that is capable of various things. I ended up making him look a bit like an assassin but he liked it.

Comissions - Julie van Mierlo

Here are two commissions i've done for Julie van Mierlo , a Wacom Europe employee.

This is a cartoonish/charicature portrait of her done in Adobe Photoshop.

 Although the commission was free and although there was no deadline, i felt i've been a bit late with finishing the main commission so i threw in a bonus of doodles and sketches i was playing around with in order to get used with her cartoon - like design.

It is incredible how months of work have resulted only in a 2 minute video. I am thankful for the result, i would like to thank Robin Gerndt & Dan Harvey for their help and finally i am grateful for being nominated for Glammies. Hope you enjoy it!
